Feijóo's couple asks for a concession of public land for 30 years for their villa to have direct access to the beach

The Feijóo family does not want to give its arm to twist in its claim to enjoy as its own public land in front of the beach of O, in the City Council Pontevedrés de Moaña. The provincial coast service began a file last November to recover around 210 square meters of the farm that Eva Cárdenas maintains within the closure marked by the wall of her property. The announcement of coast was published in the BOE on November 5 and it warned of the intention of the state to recover for the public that portion of land that connects directly with the beach. In that announcement the possibility of claiming was granted to the affected parties. Eva Cárdenas presented her allegation on November twenty claiming a public concession to continue enjoying her garden on public land for 30 years.

The process now opens to public exposure for twenty days so that anyone who feels affected can participate in the dispute. In addition, coast technicians demand access to property to “raise minutes” where “the minimum occupied surface, buildings, existing facilities, infrastructure, as well as the uses to which they are intended” are recorded.

The Finca of the House of the Feijóo is surrounded by a wall that includes those lands of the land maritime domain, so that no citizen can access them. The PP leader enjoys the use of the house with his partner in his frequent Galicia visits but the property corresponds to Eva Cárdenas, who acquired it in 2019, when that closure was made. Recently, as Praza.Gal said in November, it did intervene in the area with a renovation of the door that gives direct access to the beach, which now has the same finishes as the rest of the houses.

The litigation between the Feijóo family and the Department of Coasts, which depends on the Ministry for Ecological Transition, occurs at the time when Galicia is about to receive the powers in the management of the coast, the first transference that the Galician PP He applies since 2009. At the moment the decision on the claim of the PP leader's couple is still in the hands of the department directed by Sara Aagesen.

Neither the Provincial Service of Coasts of Pontevedra nor the ministry on which it depends have wanted to make statements regarding this information. Eldiario.es has contacted Feijóo spokesmen to collect their assessment without receiving response at the moment.
