Mazón embraces Vox's speech against immigration and “climate dogmatism” to achieve support for budgets

The president of the Generalitat Valenciana, the popular Carlos Mazón, is completely given to Vox's speech to save himself. The Chief of the Consell, a political and judicially besieged for his DANA management, has no qualms about assuming the postulates of the ultra -right if it is up to it to continue in office, as shown on Monday to announce a budget agreement. Carlos Mazón, who has fought his future to reconstruction, has summoned a press conference just an hour in advance to communicate, without submitting to questions from the press, which has been understood with Vox after months of parliamentary blockade. And he has done it with a flood of criticism of climate change or immigration policies, assuming the electoral program of the ultras, which he took from the government in July, but without those who cannot govern.

The Chief of the Consell, who has barely completed budgetary lines or measures, has loaded against “climate dogmatism”, which according to his speech has interfered in the construction of hydraulic infrastructure. Mazón insists on the bulre of the destruction of dams or that the law of L'Horta blocked works in the ravine of the poyo -the Rambla that overflowed last October and flooded L'Horta Sud -, when until number 3 he has publicly recognized that it was the cuts of the central government that struck the investments. Far from betting on policies that mitigate climate change, which aggravates phenomena such as Dana, the PP leader insists on acientific postulates to content their partners.

In a staining speech of the Ultra ideology, the leader of the Valencian popular has also loaded against the European Green Pact and has called “the action” against him for his measures “that go directly against the essence of our economy”, deliberately ignoring that it was promoted by Ursula von der Leyen, head of the European Popular Party (PPE) and president of the European Commission. Precisely the PPE has decided to keep its Congress in April, which was about to move to Madrid for the tension in the Valencian capital, and that will finally coincide with the sixth month of the Dana.

The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has barely taken half an hour to praise Mazón's speech: “That is the right direction: face without complexes to the green pact and the policies that favor illegal immigration. The two issues had to do with the tragedy of the Dana in its causes and in the amplification of the consequences by pillage. ” Last Wednesday, a National Vox delegation met with the Mazón team in its units, after weeks of intense negotiations between the dome.

If the agreement is closed or does not depend on the interlocutor to whom it is asked. In Vox Valencia they point out that it is sealed, in the absence of some fringes, while the national leader, Santiago Abascal, celebrates that it is “in the right direction”, which does not imply having reached the end of the journey. From the words of both it follows that there is an agreement for the processing of the accounts, which will be presented this Thursday in the Corts Valencianes to initiate their parliamentary career. If everything goes well, they will be approved at the end of May, after months blocked. The 2025 budgets had to have been presented on October 31 to approve before the end of the year, but the Dana altered the calendar. Since December, Presidency has been kicking forward, promising in at least four occasions to present the accounts shortly.

Following the ideology marked by the ultras, Mazón has also loaded against migratory policies, one of the conditions that Vox put last summer to approve the autonomous budgets to the PP. The popular leader has promised that the Valencian Community will not assume irregular migrants and has demanded that the Government provide data on those arrested for pillage in the first days after the flood, linking immigration to crime. He has assured that the Valencian Community “has exceeded the limit of its capacity” and “will not admit more illegal immigration distributions promoted by President Sánchez”, in addition to seeking “legal formulas” so that unaccompanied minors “can return with their families.” Vox forced the Valencian Executive to issue a rectification to its second vice president, Francisco José Gan Pampols, as a condition to continue negotiating the autonomic budgets, after he celebrated the regularization of migrants affected by the DANA.

The Valencian president has undone in praise towards Vox, to whom he thanked the predisposition to support the accounts. Mazón has never had problems assuming his postulates if it depended on governing.
