The PSOE denies any involvement of Santos Cerdán in public works amaños or bite collection
The PSOE flatly rejects that its secretary of Organization, Santos Cerdán, has ever participated in the Amaño of Public Works or in the collection of bites investigating justice in the cause known as the 'Koldo case'. In a statement released late on Wednesday by the direction of the party, and after the publication at eldiario.es and other means that the recordings provided by the Civil Guard leave Cerdán to the edge of the imputation, the socialist say that “Santos Cerdán has not participated, much less influenced, in public works awards. He has never charged a commission for it”.
In that same public note, the PSOE adds that “when the entire report is known, Santos Cerdán will give all the necessary explanations so that once and for all their name and honorability they stop being mixed daily with cases that have nothing to do with their person.”
In addition, the critical party “knowledge, once again by the way of filtration, of police actions” that points out that “it has become an endemic issue of our country that only generates helplessness and media judgments to those affected.”
As Eldiario.es has advanced on Wednesday, the Civil Guard has delivered to the Supreme Court recordings that point to the participation of the current Secretary of Organization of the PSOE, Santos Cerdán, in the plot of corruption investigating the magistrate Leopoldo Puente, according to sources known to the investigation.
The Central Operating Unit (UCO) has extracted those conversations of the mobile devices that seized Koldo García during his detention and has incorporated them as indications to the report he delivered on June 5 to the magistrate, part of a separate piece of the case whose secret will be raised in the next few hours.
