The social network X (Twitter) stops working for almost two hours in several countries, including Spain

The social network X, formerly known as Twitter, has stopped working normally in several countries, including Spain, starting at 14.20 this Saturday for causes still unknown. The service has begun to restore from 4 pm, although there are still users who are reporting problems.

The users of the social network have begun to communicate to the Downdector website problems with the service both in the mobile application and in its web version, according to the reports sent to the site.

Spanish users had reported at 14.35 hours about 3,200 reports, which have fallen from 4 pm, although with a rebound to almost a thousand reports at 16.15. In France there was a similar number of incidents at that same time, with more than 3,000 sent to this website.

The incidence in the American social network seems to be generalized, since the United States had more than 12,500 reports at that time, while other countries such as Italy added 1,450 incidents and the United Kingdom, more than 9,000 reports.

When trying to recharge the application, it jumps a message that ensures that “something went wrong” and asks to recharge the page again.

At the moment, the social network X has not made comments regarding possible technical problems in its tool. Already in previous days some functions of the web application as well as the old tweetdeck, now known as X Pro, had stopped working normally.
